Schumacher XC103 SpeedCharge Battery Charger with Engine Start

Schumacher XC103 SpeedCharge Battery Charger with Engine Start Review

Schumacher XC103 SpeedCharge Battery Charger with Engine Start Feature

  • 100 ampere engine start for emergency starting
  • Self-adjusting, variable charge rates for everyday charging needs and maintaining your battery in peak condition
  • Charges and automatically desulfates and restores car, truck, RV, farm equipment, AGM, gel cell and deep-cycle batteries
  • 3 amp maintain/5 amp slow/12-30 amp fast charge
  • The charger automatically determines whether the connected battery is a 6 volt battery or a 12 volt battery

The XC103 Battery Charger and Maintainer is a fully automatic microprocessor controlled charging system for 6V and 12V batteries. It features a 100-amp engine start for emergency starting, as well as offering standard battery charging and trickle charging. With the XC103, charge and automatically desulfate and restore car, truck, RV, farm equipment, AGM, gel cell, and deep-cycle batteries. A Fast Charge setting delivers self-adjusting, variable charge rates from 5 amps to 12<>30 amps for everyday charging needs and maintaining your battery in peak condition. A 3-amp Slow Charge setting charges and maintains small batteries such as motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and lawn tractor batteries. A built-in digital voltmeter/tester helps diagnose problems.

Charge all types of 6V and 12V batteries quickly and safely
Multiple Charging Modes

Choose from 3-amp, 5-amp, and 12<>30-amp charging modes to quickly charge all types and sizes of batteries. In Fast Charge mode, the charger monitors battery condition and adjusts charge rate upward or downward to prevent battery damage for car, truck, marine, RV, and farm equipment batteries. The 5-amp Slow Charge is a medium setting for continuous charging of batteries. A 3-amp Maintenance setting is a trickle setting for charging and maintaining small batteries, such as those for motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and lawn tractors.

Auto Voltage Detection

The XC103's Auto Voltage Detection automatically selects battery voltage (6V or 12V) and charges properly depending on the type of battery connected.

Fully Automatic Operation

The XC103 automatically switches from Continuous Charge to Float-Mode Monitoring, which allows the charger to maintain the battery when fully charged. The SC-1200A resumes continuous charging when the battery becomes discharged.

Reverse Hookup Protection

Reverse hookup protection safeguards car battery, computer, and other Instant Power uses from damage if the cables are connected to the wrong terminals. The XC103 will cease operation when clamps are reversed or touched together.

Built-In Voltmeter

The XC103 features a built-in voltmeter to help you diganose problems with batteries that are having trouble charging. Save time and take the guesswork out of charging older or damaged batteries.

This fully automatic microprocessor controlled 100 ampere engine start is perfect for emergency starting. It features a 5 ampere, 10-20 ampere fast charge which has self-adjusting, variable charge rates for everyday charging needs and maintaining your battery in peak condition. Charges and automatically desulfates and restores car, truck, RV, farm equipment, AGM, gel cell and deep-cycle batteries. A secondary feature is the 3 ampere slow charge for charging and maintaining small batteries, motorcycle batteries, ATV batteries, snowmobile batteries and lawn tractor batteries. With a built-in digital voltmeter/tester, you can easily diagnose problems. An auto voltage detection means the charger automatically determines whether the connected battery is a 6 volt battery or a 12 volt battery.
